The Kirchentag programme book provides details for more than 1,500 events which are planned for the Kirchentag in Düsseldorf. Details on all events can be found on the app and the Kirchentag website. For international visitors, we offer a compact English-language programme booklet that includes details of selected events, as well as practical tips to help you during your stay at the Kirchentag.

The Kirchentag provides simultaneous interpretation at some events. These are listed in this booklet and indicated in the digital programme with special symbols. Please allow enough time before the session begins to collect your headphones. If you want to attend an event without interpretation you can ask at the International Centre for a volunteer language steward to go with you. They do not give a full simultaneous translation but will give you a summary of what is said.

This is a special welcome session for international participants directly after the opening service. It takes place on Wednesday, 5 May 2027. During the session, you will learn all about the international accommodation and the international centre, about the app and how to find events that might interest you, on interpretation and the English booklet, and much more. You will also have the chance to connect with other international guests, or find people from your country or who speak the same language, including members of the International Committee. All participants from abroad will receive an invitation to this meeting in due time before the Kirchentag. We hope to see you there!
