Bring the Kirchentag to a wide variety of locations throughout Düsseldorf and delight audiences with your artistry in an unplugged, open-air setting. 

Your music brings the Kirchentag to the entire city and provides an experience that extends beyond the event venues. As a vocal or brass ensemble, you enrich the Kirchentag with your music in public spaces and venues around the city. 

You can also bring the joy of music to people who cannot actively participate in the program themselves by performing at social institutions, such as hospitals or senior care homes.

If you are interested in providing musical accompaniment for a themed event, a worship service, or a Bible study, we will be happy to try to connect you with an opportunity whenever possible. In addition, workshops and participatory concerts will take place, in which you can participate.

You are also welcome to join forces with other choirs or, as individual singers and musicians, join other choirs.

The Kirchentag thrives on people who volunteer to help shape the program. All participants who contribute to the overall program of the Kirchentag are considered participants. As a thank you for your commitment, you are given the opportunity to attend the Kirchentag at a significantly reduced rate. After registration, you will therefore purchase a contributor pass for each group member at 33 euros per person (expected to include a pass for Düsseldorf’s public transportation). This is significantly reduced compared to the standard 5-day pass and grants you access to all Kirchentag events.
