There are various types of tickets available for the Kirchentag (see the complete tables below).

• The main difference is the duration of your stay: you can buy a 5-day ticket or a day ticket.
• Digital in-app tickets require a smartphone and the Kirchentag app. Alternatively, you can order a paper ticket for an additional charge of 4 Euro per ticket, including postage. Paper tickets will be sent from April 2027.
• The 5-day ticket and the family ticket are expected to include public transport. Further details will be available at the end of the year. Day tickets cannot be booked with public transport.
• Kirchentag tickets do not automatically include accommodation; this must be booked separately.
• Participants from DAC countries and Eastern Europe are eligible for discounts. Please email international@kirchentag.de to receive a discount code, which you can redeem when registering via MyKirchentag.
• You may be eligible for a discounted ticket if you are between 12 and 17 years old, a pupil or student, a trainee, participating in a German voluntary service (BFD, FSJ, FÖJ), have a disability (GdB 50 or more), are a pensioner, or receive unemployment benefit (ALG I). These discounts apply to both 5-day tickets and day tickets.
• You may be eligible for a subsidised ticket if you receive basic income support (Grundsicherung), are an asylum seeker, are a refugee, or hold a Düsselpass. Subsidised tickets cost 19 Euro and are available only as 5-day tickets.
• A special 5-day family ticket is available for up to two adults and at least one child up to and including the age of 17.
• The Young Regio Ticket is a special 5-day ticket for young people living in the Düsseldorf region: pupils, students, trainees, and participants in voluntary services.
• Children up to and including the age of 11 can attend the Kirchentag free of charge. Every child staying in group accommodation must be registered by name with a free child ticket or a family member ticket. Children aged 5 to 11 attending for all five days can receive a free child ticket, which is expected to include public transport with Rheinbahn Düsseldorf. Children under 5 do not need a public transport ticket.
• If you book by 3 March 2027, you will receive the early bird price for several, though not all, types of 5-day tickets.
• If you live abroad and cannot afford to attend the Kirchentag, we will try to help. Please contact international@kirchentag.de.

Tickets can be cancelled free of charge up to and including March 17, 2027. Group accommodation can be cancelled free of charge until March 31, 2027; after that date, the accommodation fee is no longer refunded. Shipping costs are not refunded once delivery has taken place.

Individual tickets or entire registrations can be cancelled online through your "Mein Kirchentag" ("My Kirchentag") account. In-app tickets are then automatically deactivated and credited. If you have already received paper tickets from us, you must first send them back to us before they can be credited. Printing and shipping costs are not refunded.

Please note: When returning 5-day tickets, only the early-bird price is refunded. This also applies to tickets that were ordered or purchased later. The additional costs for paper tickets that have already been shipped are not refunded.

In case of illness, free cancellation is possible until April 30, 2027, upon presentation of a doctor's certificate. The certificate, along with any paper tickets you have received, must be sent by April 30, 2027 at the latest to: info@kirchentag.de
