How to get around in Berlin

Berlin airports are very good connected by public transport to Berlin city center and Messe Berlin. The website of public transport in Berlin www.bvg.de/en is available in English language as well. From Wednesday 24 May your Kirchentag pass is also valid for this journey, as long as you have received it in advance. Otherwise you will need to buy a ticket from the machine.

Important to know: Beside Tramway (Tram) and busses (Bus), Berlin has two different kinds of Metro (S+U-Bahn). The S-Bahn is designed by a green "S" sign and U-Bahn by a blue "U" . They can all be used with the same regular public transport ticket, divided in Zone A, B and C.
